Digital impressions eliminate the need for messy, powdered molds of your teeth and gums, making your treatment faster and more convenient as well as more precise. iTero® utilizes a digital wand that scans your teeth and oral structures with a laser light. The details of the scan are sent to a computer that creates a detailed, 3D image. These images are used to create your custom orthodontic appliance, such as Invisalign® aligners and oral splints for TMJ therapy.
