Dr. Cabal has known he wanted to be an orthodontist since he was 15 years old, after experiencing firsthand the life-changing benefits of orthodontic treatment. Before moving to the United States, he received his dental degree from Javeriana University in Colombia. He then earned his Master’s degree in oral biology and his orthodontics certification from the University of Pennsylvania.
As a self-described “lifelong learner,” Dr. Cabal continues to grow his knowledge and experience through continuing education courses, and he is an active member of the Dallas Study Club.
Dr. Cabal is also a member of the following organizations:

- The American Association of Orthodontics
- The Hispanic Dental Association
- The American Cleft Palate Association
Dr. Cabal speaks English and Spanish fluently, which allows him to communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds. For his dedication to improving patients’ smiles and lives, Dr. Cabal was named one of America’s Top Dentists in both 2009 and 2010.
