We Use Technology To Help Correct Smiles

fort worth orthodontic technologyFrom planning treatment to creating custom oral appliances and orthodontics, we use advanced technology to aid in the improvement of your smile. In today’s blog, your Fort Worth, TX, orthodontist is talking about three different systems we use to help you and your smile with confidence once again!

Helping Smiles of All Ages

Our team can help treat smiles of all ages, from children as young as age seven to teens and adults. We also offer personalized treatment too, as every smile is unique. If you want to see a straighter smile in 2023, then we can help you get started. We want everyone to enjoy optimal oral health, and a smile that inspires confidence.

iTero® and I-CAT

With iTero®, we can use digital impressions to design and craft your orthodontics or aligners. Using a thin wand with a digital camera within, we take images of your smile from multiple angles quickly and comfortably. No bite wings, no molds filled with gooey materials. We then use the images to create a 3D model, designing and crafting items with precision. We can create Invisalign® aligners, custom retainers, TMJ appliances, and more.

I-CAT uses computerized tomography technology to help us with the diagnosing and planning process. We can create broad images of the smile as a whole, and also target specific areas of concern too. These images help us assess the cause of your misalignment, and allow us to plan the treatment with unrivaled precision.

Propel® Accelerated Orthodontics

Treating misalignment requires a significant time commitment because as we shift the teeth with braces, retainers, or aligners, the jawbone needs to reform around the new positions of the teeth. This can take years in some cases. But with Propel® Accelerated Orthodontics, our team can limit the time and often by as much as 50%. We simply send you home with a small device that you put in your mouth for about five minutes a day. The device uses gentle vibrations to stimulate the growth of the bone and gum tissues around the new positions of the teeth. The device is also easy to use, clean, and store.

If you have any questions about how we treat misalignment with advanced technology, then contact our team today. Let’s work together to make big changes to your smile in 2023!
