The Invisalign® Process
We don’t need to use metal braces at all, no brackets or wires necessary. Instead, the patient will wear a set of aligners, which fit snugly over the teeth, for about 20 to 22 hours a day. The exact time will be determined by the extent of your misalignment and your age. After about two weeks, the patients will upgrade to the next set in the series. This process continues for about a year to 18 months, depending on factors such as misalignment severity, age, or whether you wore the aligners as we instructed. You then obtain an even smile with a series of barely noticeable and clear orthodontics.

These will fit comfortably and help you avoid the cheek and gum irritation people often report with braces. The key to their success and comfortable fit is their custom-made nature. Each set is crafted based on the detailed digital images we took of your smile with the iTero® digital imaging system. We combine these images to create a 3D model, which is used at special lab in the design and fabrication process. No need to bite down on molds, as the entire process is now digital!
Removing Your Aligners and Other Benefits
The system offers a number of benefits over traditional braces. Along with being nearly invisible, they also fit comfortably and the process requires fewer visits to our office. In addition, you can remove them before you eat, so you don’t need to watch what you eat or worry about food becoming stuck in your orthodontics. Being removable also means the process of brushing and flossing your teeth is way easier, so you help keep your smile healthy.
