Invisalign® Clear Aligners
A very popular option for teenaged patients, Invisalign® doesn’t require traditional metal braces at all. For this reason, image-conscious teens often prefer to undergo treatment with a series of clear and comfortable plastic aligners. Each set is crafted based on detailed digital images we take of your smile, ensuring a comfortable fit and treatment with precision and accuracy. A set is worn daily for two weeks, before the patient moves on to the next set in the series. The process then corrects the smile in a year or up to 18 months. They aligners can also be removed before meals or prior to brushing and flossing, making daily activities much simpler.

However, we know that more advanced cases of misalignment may need more than a series of aligners to correct. Instead, we may need to rely on metal brace sot shift the teeth into optimal positions, improving smile health and beauty in 18 months to 2 years on average. Fortunately, we have an option to make them much less visible. Instead of affixing metal brackets to the front of the teeth, we attach ceramic ones. The same material used by dentists to make crowns; this material can be shaded to blend with the smile. We then attach very thin arch wires with a clear band. The result is braces that are much less visible than expected!

The one we prescribed will depend on the cause and extent of the misalignment.
