Improve Your Smile In 2021 With Invisalign®

fort worth invisalign Plan on making big changes to your life and routines in this new year? With that in mind, why not make now the time to try Invisalign®? Instead of metal braces, your Fort Worth, TX, orthodontist will help correct your smile with a series of clear and comfortable aligners, each set custom-made for your smile.

Address Your Smile’s Alignment

One major benefit of correcting your smile’s alignment is the improvements to your smile’s overall beauty. However, this isn’t the only benefit! Did you know that poor alignment could make thorough brushing and flossing difficult, leaving behind food particles of bacteria to consume and increasing the risk of tooth decay and gum disease? In addition, the pressure on your jaw joints from uneven teeth could lead to TMJ disorder and bruxism (teeth grinding), two disorders linked to headaches, jaw pain, and even damaged teeth. Make 2021 the year you finally address your uneven teeth; we offer treatment for teens and adults alike with our clear aligners!

Starting the Invisalign® Process

First, we need to perform an exam to identify the cause of your misalignment and assess the overall severity. We then decide if clear braces are the best route to an even smile. If so, we will take detailed images of your teeth with iTero digital scanning technology. We combine these images to create a 3D model of your smile, which enables your aligners to be designed and crafted with precision and accuracy in a dental lab setting. Each set is made from a BPA-free acrylic material, ensuring a barely visible appearance throughout your treatment!

Treatment Day-By-Day

What should you expect from the treatment process? To see optimal results, you need to wear a set for between 20 and 22 hours each day. After about wo weeks, you will move on to the next set in the series, and continue this process. For adults, results take about a year to see, and teens may need around 18 months. During the process, you can remove them before each meal, so you don’t have to change your diet. Being removable also means an easier time thoroughly brushing and flossing your teeth, protecting oral health as we correct your smile.
