Our Common Treatment Options
For children, we begin to guide the growth of the jaw and improve overall alignment with teeth spacers and custom-made retainers. For our teen and adult patients, we may suggest braces to address minor and severe misalignment. However, to limit the visibility of the metal orthodontics, we may use ceramic brackets, which are attached to the front-facing sides of the teeth. We shade them to blend with your smile, and this ensures the only metal portions are the very thin arch wires, making your braces barely noticeable. We also offer clear aligners. The Invisalign® system employs a series of aligners that are worn 20 to 22 hours a day, over a period of two weeks. You then enjoy a path to a straighter smile with orthodontics that are practically invisible!
The iTero® System
To ensure your retainers, aligners, and lifelike ceramic brackets fit comfortably and provide treatment with precision and accuracy, we design them with digital technology. Using the iTero® system, we take a number of detailed digital images of the smile, and combine them to create a 3D impression. This allows us to design and fabricate a solution to minor or more advanced cases of dental misalignment. We also use this system to create TMJ appliances to help provide relief for people with serious cases of TMJ disorder and bruxism.
I-CAT
To plan your treatment, our team will also use computerized tomography. The I-CAT system lets us diagnose the cause and extent of your misalignment, and then choose the optimal treatment option. We then help plan the overall treatment process.
