With March finally here, that means Spring is around the corner and with it, much warmer weather! In today’s blog, we’re going to cover four events happening this weekend.   1. Journey to Space: On March 7th the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will host Journey to Space at Bass Performance Hall on 330 East 4th Street at 11am. Families can watch images and videos projected on the ceiling, which will be provided by NASA. Hear performances from Holst’s The Planets, as well as themes from 2001: A Space Odyssey, Apollo 13, Star Wars, and Star Trek.
  2. Old Press Fest 2020: Old Press Fest will take place on Saturday, March 7th at 4om at Lola’s Saloon on 2736 West 6th Street. There will be performances from Carpool, Granite Hands, Summerbruise, Riley!, Seaholm, and more!Enjoy a day of incredible live music.
  3. Museums on Us: On Saturday, Match 7th Bank of American cardholders can enjoy a free visit to the Museum of Science and History on 1600 Gendy Street from 10am until 5pm. Must show bank card with matching ID to gain free entry, and this is available the first weekend of each month. A great way to show your family a day of educational and exciting exhibits and events!
  4. Dallas Blues Festival: Enjoy an evening of incredible music at the Dallas Blues Festival on Saturday, March 7th at 7pm at the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie. Enjoy local and internationally renowned artists performing original and classic songs. A great event for the whole family to enjoy!
