Looking for winter fun in Fort Worth, TX? Despite the chill in the air, there is always something fun to see and do in the city. In today’s blog, we’re looking at four events happening this weekend. Community Events

  1. Downtown Farmers Market: On Sunday, February 9th you can visit the Downtown Farmers Market on 4800 South Hulon Street. The market lasts from 9am until 3pm, and you can pick up fresh produce and food, as well as other unique homemade items from local vendors and artisans. Don’t let the winter chill keep you away, stop by on Sunday!
  2. Symphony Annual Gala: The Fort Worth Symphony’s Annual Gala will take place on Saturday, February 8th at 7pm at the Bass Performance Hall and Worthington Renaissance Hotel. This will be Miguel Harth-Bedoya’s final gala performance, and he will be celebrating the musical legacy of Beethoven, with performances from the Fifth Symphony. There will also be a black-tie dance, dinner, and more! All funds support the local at community.
  3. Valentine’s 5K: On Sunday, February 9th you and your special someone can take part in the 2020 Valentine’s 5K event from 7am until 10am at Trinity Park on 2401 University Drive. There will be refreshments served afterward! There will also be a Free Kids 1K Fun Run! Register today!
  4. Rodeo Tournament: On Friday, February 7th at 7:30pm you can attend the Pro Rodeo Tournament Semi-Finals B at the Dickies Arena on 1911 Montgomery Street. See rodeo performers at the top of their game, a great event for the whole family to enjoy!
