Fun Events In The Fort Worth Community

Do you have family coming into town for Thanksgiving? If so, be sure to take them to all the fun and exciting events happening in Fort Worth, TX, this weekend and next week! We’re going to talk about four unique events. We also want to remind our patients to see us for treatment and to use their 2019 dental benefits before they expire in December.

Community Events

  1. Parade of Lights: The 37th annual Parade of Lights will take place on Sunday, November 24th in downtown Fort Worth at 6pm. There will be over 100 floats featuring nearly half a million lights! A wonderful way to gather with family and friends and usher in the holiday season, all while enjoying something uniquely Fort Worth.
  2. Japanese Fall Festival: The Botanic Garden will be hosting the Japanese Fall Festival on November 23rd and 24th starting at 9am and ending at 5om. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $6 for kids between the ages of 6 and 15, and Grow Members and kids 5 and under get in free. Enjoy the beautiful flowers, as well as cultural booths, food trucks, and more!
  3. Doctor Who Day: Celebrate everyone’s favorite sci-fi institution with Doctor Who Day Festivities at the Fort Worth Public Library on November 23rd. Admission is free and there will be fun activities for people of all ages! This event takes place at all branches of the library, so stop by!
  4. Christmas Tree Lighting: The Will Rogers Memorial Center will be hosting the 10th Annual Funky Finds Holiday Shopping Experience on November 23rd and 24th at 3401 West Lancaster Avenue. Admission is free and you can find that unique and fun gift for that favorite person in your life. Stop by this weekend!
