After we take detailed digital impressions of your smile with the iTero® scanning system, we will begin to design and create a series of aligners from a BPA-free acrylic material. The aligners fit comfortably and a set will be worn for 20 to 22 hours over the course of about two weeks. Then, you begin wearing the next set. The total treatment time takes about a year, and each set will be barely visible when worn. You can remove them before you eat, so no need to alter you diet, and removability makes brushing and flossing during treatment much easier.
