Community Events
- Anchor Bowl: Delta Gamma Anchor Bowl takes place on September 7th from noon until 3pm at Farrington Field on 1501 University Drive. Admission is free! This event benefits Service for Sight and the Delta Gamma Foundation, assisting those with visual impairments. There will be food and drinks available.
- Chocolate Festival: The Dallas Chocolate Festival will take place on Saturday, September 7th and Sunday, September 8th. Admission is $7 to $35. The event happens at 1807 Ross Avenue. Over 60 vendors will be in attendance, and usually over 3,000 people attend this event! There will be samples, a kids area, workshops, tastings, and more! A great event to enjoy with the whole family.
- Fringe Festival: The 4th Annual Fort Worth Fringe Festival will take place on September 7th at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center on 1300 Gendy Street. Tickets are between $10 and $15 and you can see performances and shows from artists and troupes from across the country, including plays, dance, puppetry, poetry, and more. A great way to experience what the local arts community has to offer!
- Four Day Weekend: Enjoy the city’s favorite improve comedy troupe, Four Day Weekend, today at 8pm and tomorrow at 7pm and 9pm. The shows take place at the Four Day Weekend Theater on 312 Houston Street. Shows last between 45 minutes and an hour, a great way to enjoy a Friday or Saturday evening!
