With warmer weather and sunnier days, now is a great time to head out with your family and enjoy everything the community of Fort Worth, TX, has to offer. Community Events

  1. Local Arts Festival: The 2019 Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival will be presented by Downtown Fort Worth, Inc and take place at 777 Taylor Street. The event happens on April 14th from 10am until 8pm and admission is free. Thousands will attend and the festival spans over 27 city blocks, with contests, local cuisine and drinks, arts and crafts, and activities for the entire family to enjoy.   2. Fortress Festival 2019: The 2019 Fortress Festival will take on April 27th and 28th. The third annual iteration of the festival, you can enjoy performances from Leon Bridges, CHVRCHES, Bobby Sessions, Superorganism, and more. The performances take place at the Will Rogers Memorial Center on 3401 West Lancaster Avenue. Be sure to attend this memorable local music festival!
  3. Fort Worth Food and Wine Festival: Presented by the Fort Worth Food and Wine Foundation, the festival takes place from now through April 7th in multiple venues across the city. A great chance to take in the diversity of our city, with food from talented chefs and artisans, craft beers, and local vintners. There’s a little something for everyone.
  4. Safari Splash: The weather is getting warmer, so enjoy the city zoo’s Safari Splash, taking place daily at 7am on 1989 Colonial Parkway. Admission is $4 for zoo members and $5 plus zoo admission for everyone else. Kids two and under get in free. A great to cool off on a warm day.
