Once again, we want to talk about the wonderful community of Fort Worth. With the weekend finally here, this is so much for you and your family to enjoy. We’re looking at four unique events taking place this month and next month in Fort Worth, TX.   1. Safari Splash: When the weather warms, remember that the Fort Worth Zoo has a 14,000 square foot water playground open daily, starting at 7am. Admission is $4 for zoo members, kids two and under get in free, and non-zoo members pay $5. The zoo is located at 1989 Colonial Parkway. Enjoy four different slides, a water dump tower, water toys and a fill wall, animal canons, and a play area for toddlers!
  2. Free Kids Art Class: The Trailhead at Clearfork will be offering a free kids art class next month on April 29th. They are located at 4801 Edwards Ranch Road and the event begins at 10am. This event will involve creating feather necklaces from recycled materials. Help from parents with gluing and tying would be appreciated.
  3. Spring Break at The Amon: Today is the last day to enjoy Spring Break at the Amon! Enjoy fun events catered to children from 1pm until 3pm. The Amon Carter Museum of American Art is located at 3501 Camp Bowie Blvd.
  4. The Carter’s Greatest Hits: While major renovations are being done to the galleries at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, they will be displaying their greatest hits from their permanent collection, with works from Georgia O’Keefe, George Bellows, Winslow Homer, and more. The museum is located at 3501 Camp Bowie Blvd. Admission is free and you can view the art from 10am until 5pm.
