What’s Happening In Fort Worth?

Community Events

  1. A Gala Rock Concert: Renowned violinist Robert McDuffie will be performing with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra for a gala rock concert on Saturday, February 9th at 7pm. The show takes place at Bass Performance Hall on 525 Commerce Street. Mike Mills of REM will also be joining the performance. Enjoy this one of a kind experience this weekend!
  2. Obama-ology: The Jubilee Theatre will be presenting Obama-ology on Friday, February 9th at 8pm, Saturday February 9th at 3pm and 8pm, and Sunday February 10th at 3pm. The theatre is located at 506 West Main Street. The play follows recent college grad Warren, who learns that changing society isn’t easy while campaigning for Obama’s ’08 presidential run.
  3. Family Movie Fun: The Central Library (500 West 3rd Street) will be hosting a Family Movie Fun event on Saturday, February 9th at 1pm. Kids must be accompanied by an adult, and families are welcome to bring a blanket and enjoy the movie. The event is free and is held every month!
  4. Our Town: The Circle Theatre will be presenting Our Town on Friday February 8th at 8pm and Saturday February 9th at 3pm and 8pm. The theatre is located at 230 West 4th Street. Be sure to catch this performance of Thorton Wilder’s iconic small-town drama.
