Community Fun In Fort Worth

Each weekend, Fort Worth hosts a number of fun and exciting events. In today’s blog, we’re looking at four events, from VIP stockyard tours to rodeo championships. Community Events

  1. Mr. Stockyards VIP Tour: Fun for families and people of all ages, Mr. Stockyards VIP Tour takes place every week on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Cowtown Coliseum Box Office (123 East Exchange Avenue). The event lasts from noon until 2:30pm and is $34.99 for adults, $11.99 for kids 8 and under, and free for kids 5 and under. A fun tour that highlights things most tourists don’t get to see!
  2. Perform La Femme: The Art Room will be featuring Perform La Femme from now through February 28th at 120 St. Louis Avenue #117. The exhibit is open from 10am until 6pm and admission is free. View the results of a dynamic photography project between Angilee Wilkerson and Jana C. Perez that explores the female identity. A unique exhibit to check out while exploring Fort Worth!
  3. Stockyards Championship Rodeo: For the genuine rodeo experience, check out this year-round indoor event. The Stockyards Championship Rodeo takes place at 121 East Exchange Avenue. The two-hour show features roping, riding, barrel racing, and more. The Pawnee Bill’s Wild West Show will happen every Saturday from 2:30pm until 4:30pm and feature even more live entertainment.
  4. Another Frontier: The Sid Richardson Museum will be hosting Another Frontier: Frederic Remington’s East now through September 9th at 309 Main Street on Sundance Square. Admission is free and features little seen works of art from the renowned western artists’ home in the North Country.
