January Community Events In Fort Worth

Today, we would like to take a break from our usual orthodontic topics and talk about the community. Fort Worth is a such a rich and vibrant city, one with so much to offer! We’re going to look at a few fun and exciting events taking place in our city this month.

Community Events

  1. Big Camera/Little Camera: The Modern Art Museum is hosting an exhibit on Laurie Simmons called Big Camera/Little Camera. The museum is located at 3200 Darnell Street. The exhibit will be open from 10am until 5pm from Tuesday through Sunday. General admission is $10, free on Sunday, and $5 on Wednesday. The exhibit will showcase Laurie Simmons’ art from 1976 through present day, including sculptures and two films.
  2. All Western Parade: The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo’s All Western Parade will take place on January 19th at 11am in Downtown Fort Worth. Admission is free and reserved seats are available. More than 100,000 people will attend, with tons of horses and wagons in the parade.
  3. Cowboys of Color Rodeo: Will Rogers Memorial Center Stockshow and Rodeo will be hosting Cowboys of Color Rodeo on January 21st at 2pm at 3401 Lancaster Avenue. Admission is $25 per person and the event highlights the diversity and culture of rodeo and life in the west.
  4. Central Market Citrus Fest: Central Market Citrus Fest is presented by Central Market and Café on the Run Fort Worth. The festival will take place from now through January 22nd at 4651 West Freeway. There will be over 55 different citrus products, plenty to purchase and showcase on your social media pages! A great way to spend your weekend with your friends and family.
