The holiday season is in full swing in Fort Worth, Texas. With Hanukkah a few nights in and Christmas just a few weeks away, there is a festive spirit in the air. We have gathered up a list of some of the holiday events happening in Dallas-Fort Worth this weekend. We hope you and your family find some fun things to do to enjoy this season. Holiday Events
- Enjoy a free show, The Littlest Wiseman, at the William Edrington Scott Theatre this weekend. There are matinee and evening performances. Children under the age of 4 will not be admitted, but everyone else is welcome to this Christmas play pageant.
- Enjoy Snacks With Santa at Dallas Comedy House in Dallas, Texas before the Family Friendly Improv Show. The show begins at 6 p.m. with milk and cookies with Santa Claus starting at 5:30 p.m.. The snacks are included with the price of admission to the show.
- Bring the family to the Fort Worth Public Library’s Central Branch for a free showing of Happy Feet. The movie starts at 1 p.m. and is open to all ages. Bring a blanket and cuddle up for a fun movie about penguins.
- Tis the season to see The Nutcracker at Bass Performance Hall. The Christmas classic is a beautiful ballet and seeing it in your local historical hall is a wonderful way to experience it. If you have never seen The Nutcracker live, this year is a great time to do it.
