There are plenty of fun, interesting things to do in the city this week ranging from musicals to museums. Fall is a great time to get out and about to enjoy your community. Things To Do

  1. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! is playing at Artisan Center Theater in Hurst, TX. This weekend is closing weekend for the show that has been playing since August 31st. There are showtimes on all days of the week except for Wednesday and Sunday. The show is appropriate for all ages.
  2. It’s Hispanic Heritage Month, and the Kimbell Art Museum is celebrating! There will be interactive docent-guided tours in Spanish that will focus on some of the ancient artifacts in the permanent collection. Each tour will last for about 45 minutes; they are free and open to the public.
  3. The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is hosting Reel Adventures to celebrate 20 years of Harry Potter! Kids and adults can dress up in wizard garb for themed activities prior to a showing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in the Omni Theater, an IMAX® Dome. Activities include making dragon eggs, looking at constellations in the planetarium, a glow stick dance party, and more! The activities will start at 5:45 p.m. and the movie will begin at 7:35 p.m.
