Fun in Fort Worth
- The Tech Truck will be at COOL, the Cavile Outreach Opportunity Library, on Thursday, July 19th. The Tech Truck is an extension of the Perot Museum that travels through Texas to engage children and teens in science. The truck focuses on hands-on, maker-based science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) to foster creativity and confidence in the youth. This week’s focus at COOL will be to explore robotics.
- Rockin’ the River is back for its 8th year at Panther City Pavilion. The event features live music from bands, foods, and drinks. This week’s headlining band will be Cody Canada and the Departed. There will be tubing on the river along with watersports rentals. Each night will end with a fireworks show. Children are allowed at the event, but there will be loud music and alcohol. Small children will not be allowed in the water and children under the age of 12 will be required to wear a life jacket.
- The little actors of Billy’s Globe House, the children’s theater of Stolen Shakespeare Guild, will perform Snow White and the Seven Doubts at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center this weekend.
