Fun In Fort Worth This WeekendWe are over halfway through the month of June, so summer is in full swing. The DFW metroplex and specifically the city of Fort Worth, are filled with fun activities for the whole family. Dr. Cabal and the team at Lake Country Orthodontics is so proud to serve the families smiles of the Fort Worth community!


  1. Every Thursday in June and July, Sundance Square hosts a free outdoor movie. This week’s movie is the 1988 classic, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, so that you and your family can grab a spot and watch the movie in comfort. No outside food or drink is permitted, but food and drinks from the restaurants in the plaza are available.
  2. Join the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History every weekend for one-of-a-kind family friendly festival series: FAMapalooza! The series will be comprised of three after-hours events filled with hands-on activities for every member of the family. Each month has a different theme with different activities. On June 22nd, the theme is Bubble Festival where everyone can learn about the science of bubbles. You can build your own bubble wands, learn about the best bubble liquids for solutions, and make giant 6 foot bubbles outside the museum. There will be food with bubbles and live bubble demonstrations including Super Cold Bubbles and the Exploding Bubbles Show. Tickets are limited, so be sure to purchase them early.
  3. This Wednesday, the Northside Branch of the Fort Worth Public Library is hosting Sensory Science: Salt Sparkle Watercolor where kids can use salt and water to create their very own beach scene through wax resist art.
