Things To Do: Fireworks, Ballet, & MoreMay is almost over, which means summer is almost here! Allergy season is almost behind us, so it’s time to put on the sunscreen and head outdoors. For those of you who prefer the refreshing chill of indoor air conditioning, you have plenty of options to celebrate the upcoming season, too! Dr. Cabal and the team at Lake Country Orthodontics is so proud to serve the families and the smiles in the Fort Worth area.

To Do This Weekend

  1. Twin Points Park has its 2018 season opening day on Saturday, May 26 and to celebrate, they will have their third annual fireworks show over the lake. The summer season will run through Labor Day, which is on Monday, September 3rd this year. Visitors of all ages are welcome to view the fireworks display. Admission will be free and will start at 8pm. Please note that admittance is limited based on available parking (carpooling is encouraged). The park is open during the summer season and features a large public beach, shaded picnic pavilions, BBQ pits, volleyball courts and more.
  2. The Texas Ballet Theater is presenting Swan Lake at Bass Performance Hall. Enhance your experience with Texas Ballet Theater’s VIP ticket add-on, which allows you to receive a drink voucher and exclusive souvenirs. Most importantly, the VIP ticket allows you to take a backstage tour and experience the magic of ballet up close after the performance.
  3. The Cowtown Showdown features the top showcased events (bull riding, bronco riding, barrel racing, roping, and more) of the Stockyards Championship Rodeo and the Pawnee Bill’s Wild West Show at Cowtown Coliseum.
