The Invisalign® system is a very nearly invisible way to straighten your teeth. Using advanced digital imaging technology, your Invisalign® treatment is personalized to your smile’s needs. The treatment is done by using a series of clear aligners, each set worn for about two weeks, to gently shift your teeth into position. Throughout the treatment, your teeth will incrementally shift into the desired position that you and your orthodontist discuss. Invisalign® is designed to seamlessly fit into your lifestyle, so that straight teeth can be attainable for nearly everybody.
Wear Them When You Want
Straightening your smile with traditional metal braces means wearing those braces non-stop for the duration of the treatment. When you straighten your smile with Invisalign®, you do need to wear the aligners for 20-22 hours per day. However, when you wear your aligners and when you take them out, are both completely up to you. You will need to remove your aligners whenever you eat, drink, brush, or floss, but you can take them out whenever else you want. While the aligners are nearly invisible, maybe you want to take them out for that big first date? You can! Maybe you need to take them out to replace them with a mouthguard for that kickboxing class you are taking? You can!
Confidence In Your Appearance
Teeth that are crooked are not just a problem for adolescents and they are not just a problem for your smile’s appearance. Crooked teeth can increase your risks of having tooth damage, decay, gum disease, and disorders of the jaw. Straightening your teeth can help to lower these risks. Many adults fear that wearing braces will eliminate the confidence they have in their appearance. They put off treatment and put their smile at risk. Because Invisalign® is nearly invisible, you can feel more confident during treatment and after it.
