Upcoming Fort Worth EventsThe cold, icy weather may keep your family indoors this week, but the weekend forecast is better. There are plenty of community and family events in the Fort Worth community that can be enjoyed this weekend. Lake Country Orthodontics is very proud to serve the smiles of families from North Texas and Fort Worth. 

Upcoming Events

  1. Artspace111 at 111 Hampton Street is still presenting Sussie, a group exhibition of works from a curation of Texas-based artists. Sussie is an exhibit that features small-sized paintings, sculptures, and prints. The art is all available for purchase. The exhibit is open through January 27th.
  2. Broadway hit, “Something Rotten!” is playing at Bass Performance Hall. The show is a comedic ode to classical musicals with a big swath of Shakespeare. The show will run from January 17th through January 21st.
  3. On January 20th, there will be the Fort Worth Fairytale Ball. This two-hour event is full of magical chances to interact with your favorite princesses. You can dance with Cinderella, read with Rapunzel, share treats with Tinkerbell, create a tiara with Elena, and more. The event focuses on making sure the little ones feel royal throughout all of the activities. The Ball includes professional princess portraits for every child, a full candy buffet, crafts, stories, songs, games, face painting and interaction with princesses. 
  4. The Modern Museum of Art of Fort Worth hosts Movies That Matter. The event is a free, bi-monthly film series that focuses on highlighting important human and civil rights issues. Each screening is followed by a moderated discussion with special guests.
